BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) located in York, UK.
Returning for its 5th year, the festival is taking place from 5 to 8 November.
Hosted by the art and culture publication Aesthetica Magazine, the festival is a celebration of independent film from across the world. Films are screened from genres including advertising, animation, artists’ film, comedy, dance, documentary, drama, experimental, fashion, music video and thriller.

Engaging with screenings and masterclasses at ASFF 2015 contributes directly to their course by giving your students the opportunity to interact with and gain invaluable insight from leading experts in all aspects of film, TV and gaming from across the creative industries.
Last year we welcomed students from Sheffield Hallam University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Falmouth University, Norwich University of the Arts and The University of Arts London.

These take place at York St John University and Grand Opera House on Friday 6 November with a selection happening on Saturday 7 November.
