TETA Association launches the third edition of PUSTNIK - the European Screenwriters Residence, which will take place between 02 and 10 september 2017. PUSTNIK is the only Romanian initiative of this sort, meant to develop a creative and interactive environment, dedicated to young and emerging filmmakers in Europe.
During this nine-day retreat, eight screenwriters (three from Romania and five from Europe) will be given the opportunity to develop their own fiction feature films and pitch their projects to the invited producers.
Filmmakers, 18 to 35 years of age, can apply with stories in different stages of development (synopsis, exposé,treatment or first draft). They are required to have written at least one short film which has screened at an international film festival and to be working during the residency on their first long-feature project. The working language at Pustnik is English, so fluency in English is mandatory.

The academy will take place between 01st – 15th of August in Romania – Campulung Muscel.
12 international participants will split into teams to develop their film ideas during the two week adventure, under the guidance of three tutors: Ger Duijzings, Vintila Mihailescu, Ionut Piturescu. During the field research, development, production and post-production of the films, the participants will be inspired by master-classes held by invited experts. The film crews will be supported by production assistants with deep knowledge of the investigated area.
The final event of the International Film Summer Academy will award the best film with an 1,000 Euro prize.
One of the 6 films produced in the previous edition - “Pattern or Not (Şablon sau nu)”, Dorottya Balczo (director and cinematographer) & Andra Nedelcu (director and visual artist) - was successfully selected and propelled to participate in one of the sections dedicated to short film (SFC) at Cannes Film Festival 2016.

Filmteractive is looking for modern content & technology solutions with potential to engage audience in an unpredictable way. The festival is aiming to find quality that presents captivating and innovative entertainment. Organizers are searching for fresh, unusual content, platform or technology, interesting for both: commissioners & marketers and for the audience. For example:
- A/V projects with potential in digital marketing;
- projects with interactive experience using technologies (e.g. consoles and game controllers) in a creative way;
- projects that are something more than video games (games with innovative approach to playing experience);
- virtual reality projects;

Please note that all submitted project must be at least a viable product (mvp), which means their visible and functional features must be presentable.
Market is a part of international festival of interactive communication - Filmteractive, which in 2017 will be held on mid-October. MOTELX
Há 10 anos que o MOTELX - Festival Internacional de Cinema de Terror de Lisboa divulga em Portugal as melhores produções cinematográficas de terror do mundo inteiro, tendo-se tornado num dos eventos de referência na programação cultural de Lisboa e o único festival de cinema que nunca parou de crescer em público, reunindo cerca de 20 000 espectadores em apenas 6 dias.
A 11.ª edição do MOTELX acontece este ano de 5 a 10 de Setembro no Cinema São Jorge, Teatro Tivoli BBVA, Cinemateca Júnior e noutros locais da cidade, como o Largo de São Carlos e o Cais do Sodré. Além de filmes, o Festival oferece também conversas com o público, masterclasses e workshops com os convidados nacionais e internacionais.
MOTELX é o único festival português a integrar a comunidade de festivais da Federação Internacional de Associações de Produtores Cinematográficos (FIAPF) e é também membro da Federação Europeia de Festivais de Cinema Fantástico (EFFFF) e da Europe For Festivals, Festivals For Europe (EFFE).

No próximo mês, dias 26 e 27 de Junho, decorre em Lisboa, no Cinema São Jorge, o IV Festival dos Prémios Lusófonos da Criatividade.
