The International Competition offers young, fresh and original perspectives on cinema and represents the new generation of international cinema.
ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
The genre of the films can be: fiction, documentary, animation or experimental.
Films produced after January 2016.
Films that are 35 minutes or shorter.
Films can be submitted by schools only, each school may submit up to 3 films.
To be eligible for consideration, you must fully comply with Entry Rules & Regulations, including all deadlines, film length, entry material and other requirements.

The first edition of “Winter Apricots” will take place in mid December in Prilep, Macedonia. and it is open to any movie up to 30min lenght.
The Festival takes place in mid December and all the screenings, workshops and connected activities are open and free for eveybody.

The Be Film festival, in partnership with Screen Brussels, is launching a call for projects for its first co-production Forum, to be held during the Be Film Festival on 21 and 22th december 2016.
In this respect, we would like to invite you to submit your projects to our forum. So you can pitch up your feature film in front the most influent Belgian producers, funding partners, TV producers, distributors, meet them individually and reach belgian funding.

The Awards are open to student short films from anywhere in the world, and it's free to enter! Submit Now!
Watersprite is the Cambridge International Student Film Festival. Now in our 8th year, we have welcomed filmmakers to our competition from over 80 countries worldwide, and have flown filmmakers to Cambridge from countries on every continent!
We want to discover the hottest new talent from around the world, bring them to the festival in March 2017, celebrate their achievements at our awards ceremony and offer them dozens of chances across the weekend to learn from - and meet - experts and stars from across the industry.

Ca’ Foscari’ University of Venice is proud to present you the seventh edition of the Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival.
The Festival - reserved to short films from cinema/media schools and universities - is on its way to the seventh edition, we’re growing bigger and better every year and we are very proud to held this year competition at Auditorium Santa Margherita, a wonderful theater in the heart of Venice, from March 15th to 18th, 2017.
We invite you to take part in our International Competition. This is a call for works; please refer to the Contest Regulations and the Entry Form attached for all the details. The deadline for submitting your works is January 20th, 2017. This year we will award the Grand Prix fot Best Film, the Best Sound Track Award and a special mention for the best Artwork.
We will inform the selected directors by February 20th, in order to allow you to plan a visit to our festival. Last year we were able to grant an accommodation to most of the selected directors and we hope to do the same this year. Therefore if you will be selected please consider to take a trip to Venice and join us, for this is a very passionate and young-oriented festival and all our guests greatly enjoy the friendly atmosphere that characterizes us.
This is a great chance to show your films in one of the most breathtaking city in the world, to viewers from all over the globe, and we cannot wait to give your works a proper screening here in Venice, be they fiction films, documentaries, or animations.
